OUR STORY:

Founded by two working mothers, Kathryn and Maria, Donegal E.Y. Recruiting and Services brings together over four decades of collective experience in various roles within family and childcare settings. Having successfully established two bustling after-school clubs, we understand the difficulty of sourcing competent employees. During a casual stroll, the notion of alleviating this challenge for other services struck us, leading to the inception of Donegal E.Y. Recruitment and Services.

Having raised five children, Kathryn began working as a primary school teacher in 2001. She has held a variety of teaching positions. Additionally, Kathryn started the Irish book company An Mala Mor. Her love and enthusiasm for educating children has inspired her to pursue a postgraduate certificate in play therapy—watch this space!

Maria, a mother of two teenagers started her childcare career in a preschool where she grew and developed. After pursuing a Master’s degree in Child, Youth, and Community, Maria gained insight into the significance of having competent experts in the field. Maria has experience working with children of all ages and in a variety of settings, including pre-school classrooms, after-school programmes, one-on-one tutoring, support services, and individual programmes, not to mention undertaking the administrative side of things.
